AFTER MANY REQUESTS, THIS IS A KIT DESIGNED TO KEEP A DOG IN OIL TO PROMOTE COAT GROWTH AND TO PROTECT THE COAT.
THE PRODUCTS IN THIS KIT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING -
- 16 oz LANOLIN OIL
- 16 oz SUPER
- 16 oz RICH PROTEIN LOTION CONDITIONER
- 16 oz CRISP COAT
- 32 oz PRODUCT STABILIZER
- ULTIMATE PLASTIC PIN BRUSH IN PURPLE
- SMALL SLICKER
You should always have a separate brush to work on a coats in oil, you may want to label your brush and slicker.
To put dogs in oil...
1. shampoo with super cleaning & conditioning shampoo, rinse
2. you need a quart bottle, 1-2 tablespoons of lanolin with 2-3 tablespoons of protein conditioner, add hot to very warm water to the bottle, shake it out real good, than top the bottle with warm water.
3. the way you apply it on the dogs is you want to lift the coat up so the solution gets in their skin; I work from the bottm up in lifting the coat and squirting the solution on.
4. after apply, you need to just lightly rinse the dog, since the oil won't go anywhere, ring out the coat and you dry.
Taking the dog out of oil...
1. shampoo
2. add about 4-6 tablespoons of coat stabilizer to a quart bottle, fill the bottle with warm water. You would apply the coat stabilizer like how you apply the oil on the coat.
3. rinse out the coat stabilizer
4. shampoo again, I prefer using the crisp coat in this process.
5. condition with botanical, dilute and apply on the same way you apply the oil.
